Ships Log July 27, 2005

We awake at dawn to heavy rainfall. But by midmorning it was sunny with a brisk north wind. We decided to set sail. Unfortunately, we were sailing north, so it would be a motorsail. By midday, the wind clocked to the NE for some real sailing. We reached Manitowoc by 2:00 PM just as the SS Badger Ferry was leaving port bound for Luddington, Michigan. We visited our favorite local coffeeshop, had dinner at Marietties Deli and caught a film. Manitowoc is a quiet town.

Tom - Hey, not all ships logs are exciting! Mike
